Words - Human Superpower

All of us have been born with superpowers, abilities that make us superhumans. I am going to talk about one of those abilities today, that ability is the ability of words. Words that come out of our mouths are so strong, they can break the hardest person in the room. Words with the correct personality can cause massive destruction, for example, Hitler. Words hold so much strength, you can either make a person or break a person with one speech.

Marketing is all about words, cheating someone is all about how good you are with your words, and just like the last few examples, many other professions depend on how good a person is with his or her words. Facts that are total bullshit can be turned into reality because of the words that came out of our mouth, that is the power words hold.

Often times as young adults we end up saying things without considering the consequences of the words we use. It is very important to always be conscious of the kind of words we are using to deliver a message. So many celebrities get in trouble because of their poor choice of words, and the best example would be Donald Trump's tweets. We need to make a conscious effort to choose the right words regardless of the environment because you never know what could hurt or trigger someone.

In these difficult times that we all are living in, kind words are very important, they are needed. We need to be encouraging, we need to be protecting, we need to be loving and kind to each other because now more than ever the world needs superhumans like you and me.

How to say 'no' ?

It is said that "no" is the shortest sentence in English, which I think is true. Even though it's a very simple word, it takes up a lot of courage to say no. Why is that? the answer is simple because we as humans have the tendency to please everyone, we seek validation, we try to make everyone happy and because of this tendency, we end up saying yes to things we really don't want to do. When we those things which we wanted to say no too, we end up doing it half heartldly and that ends up just making thing awkward and uncomfortable for both parties.  When a person learns to say 'no', he or she does not only feel empowered but also grows as an indivuial. Now, you might be thinking that the stuff I just said is common knowledge the bigger question is how to say no?  Here is the answer -  1) Don't think much about it.   It is good to consider other peoples feeling, but if we end up diving in too deep we end up loosing our own self. So, don't think so hard

'Self obsession' vs 'Self love'

If you have ever said the following lines in your life, know that you are arrogant. Let me know in the comments if this sounds familiar " I will do what I want, I do not care about what you think about me" or "I love the way I am, I don't need to change" If these lines sound familiar then you, my friend are self-obsessed, you may think it is self-love or you being cool, but it is not. You are just being an arrogant person, who is self-obsessed and refuses to improve him or herself.  Now, I know I sound a little harsh in my tone, but I feel it has become very important for people to know the difference between self-obsession and self-love. Changing yourself for the better is not a bad thing . Self-love means to be open to criticism, to be open to improvements, to be open to make yourself a better person than yesterday. It does not mean you brag about your flaws. Let me explain to you with the help of an illustration; let's say you are a bad listener, now a fr
