How to say 'no' ?

It is said that "no" is the shortest sentence in English, which I think is true. Even though it's a very simple word, it takes up a lot of courage to say no. Why is that? the answer is simple because we as humans have the tendency to please everyone, we seek validation, we try to make everyone happy and because of this tendency, we end up saying yes to things we really don't want to do. When we those things which we wanted to say no too, we end up doing it half heartldly and that ends up just making thing awkward and uncomfortable for both parties.
When a person learns to say 'no', he or she does not only feel empowered but also grows as an indivuial. Now, you might be thinking that the stuff I just said is common knowledge the bigger question is how to say no?

Here is the answer -

1) Don't think much about it.

It is good to consider other peoples feeling, but if we end up diving in too deep we end up loosing our own self. So, don't think so hard about saying no, just simply say and give a logical reason on why you are saying no.

2) Use the right words.

If you are in a situation where you want to say no, but you really don't know how to without hurting the other person, just say, "Unfortunatly, I can't I ( reason )" or " I would love too but I reall have to (reason) These are some fancy ways to say no. If someone is forcing you to go somewhere and you don't want to just say " Oh man I so wanted to go that place, unfortunately I have (reason). How about next time?

3) Be Humble with your tone of voice.

Now being humble does not mean speak so softly that the other person does not have any respect for you words. Humble means speak kindly but be assertive with your tone.

4) Be logical with your excuse

I know for some of you its difficult to lie, so this one is for the people who know how to lie. Whenever you are giving an excuse to not go somewhere or be somewhere, trying being logical towards it. Don't give elaborate reason of not attending, people who try hard to lie end up going into a lot of details. Try to keep it simple

5) Just say No.

Well this one is kind of a very straight forward point. Somedays just say no, if you are someone with a cold heart like my ex, saying no should come easy to you. Simply say no.

Alright folks, these are few pointers on saying no for people who have a hard time saying it.

Bonus tip - Practice in front of the mirror, imagine situations where you would need to say no, and think of the words and tone you need to use to get out that situation. Contorl over you emotions is the key.

'Self obsession' vs 'Self love'

If you have ever said the following lines in your life, know that you are arrogant. Let me know in the comments if this sounds familiar " I will do what I want, I do not care about what you think about me" or "I love the way I am, I don't need to change" If these lines sound familiar then you, my friend are self-obsessed, you may think it is self-love or you being cool, but it is not. You are just being an arrogant person, who is self-obsessed and refuses to improve him or herself.  Now, I know I sound a little harsh in my tone, but I feel it has become very important for people to know the difference between self-obsession and self-love. Changing yourself for the better is not a bad thing . Self-love means to be open to criticism, to be open to improvements, to be open to make yourself a better person than yesterday. It does not mean you brag about your flaws. Let me explain to you with the help of an illustration; let's say you are a bad listener, now a fr
