How to improve your confidence in yourself?

Confidence, some people just ooze with confidence, and some people look like they could use some. If you are one of those people who could use some, you have come to the right place. Before I go ahead with the pointers on improving confidence within yourself, let help you understand why you need it in the first place. In one of my blogs, I discuss the power of words. If you wish to be someone who wants to run the world, you need to be confident in yourself. If you want to grow in your life, socially and professionally, you need to have confidence in yourself. But of course, you need to learn there is a fine line between confidence and being a stubborn bull. Being confident does not mean you stop taking suggestions and advice it means having faith in yourself and the work you are doing.  Always remember self-confidence is the key to your super Saiyan mode So, what can you do to improve your self-confidence?  Answer  1) Work on your lifestyle.  One of the common reasons for people to lac

Adulting 101

Life is a cruel joke, and the worst joke of all time has to be the lie we told ourselves as we were kids, I remember saying to myself "I wanna grow up, and be an adult, and live a happy life", oh how dumb we were as kids. Growing up was the biggest scam of our life, no one told us it was going to be this difficult or depressing in some cases, but hey, here we are. Now, no matter how bad adulting may seem it is a reality that we need to face. My adulting experience has been like a man who tried drugs for the first time or someone who is really really drunk; in simple words full of falls, changes, cluelessness, pukes (not quite literally), and bad a headache.

The reason behind creating this blog is because I wanted to share my life experiences, my lessons, and my story with the world. I may not be a very good writer, but I can write enough to tell you what it's like to live a life of change. In this blog, I will share short and simple things about my grown-ass life, why? because I have nothing to do, just kidding, truth is I felt like I can help people make a difference, and hey, if one life changes that's more than enough for me.

That brings me to my first lesson of life that I learned, which is to support people in a healthy way. A lot of people are very talented they just don't know how to market themselves like the pros, so they get left behind. As growing adults in this world, we need to promote talented people, local businesses, etc. Adulting is not just about 'you' it is also about helping other people too; how you support them and help them grow. So, let's make a promise to ourselves to support real talent.

How to say 'no' ?

It is said that "no" is the shortest sentence in English, which I think is true. Even though it's a very simple word, it takes up a lot of courage to say no. Why is that? the answer is simple because we as humans have the tendency to please everyone, we seek validation, we try to make everyone happy and because of this tendency, we end up saying yes to things we really don't want to do. When we those things which we wanted to say no too, we end up doing it half heartldly and that ends up just making thing awkward and uncomfortable for both parties.  When a person learns to say 'no', he or she does not only feel empowered but also grows as an indivuial. Now, you might be thinking that the stuff I just said is common knowledge the bigger question is how to say no?  Here is the answer -  1) Don't think much about it.   It is good to consider other peoples feeling, but if we end up diving in too deep we end up loosing our own self. So, don't think so hard

'Self obsession' vs 'Self love'

If you have ever said the following lines in your life, know that you are arrogant. Let me know in the comments if this sounds familiar " I will do what I want, I do not care about what you think about me" or "I love the way I am, I don't need to change" If these lines sound familiar then you, my friend are self-obsessed, you may think it is self-love or you being cool, but it is not. You are just being an arrogant person, who is self-obsessed and refuses to improve him or herself.  Now, I know I sound a little harsh in my tone, but I feel it has become very important for people to know the difference between self-obsession and self-love. Changing yourself for the better is not a bad thing . Self-love means to be open to criticism, to be open to improvements, to be open to make yourself a better person than yesterday. It does not mean you brag about your flaws. Let me explain to you with the help of an illustration; let's say you are a bad listener, now a fr
